Seeking Helpful and Tech-Savvy Volunteers
Central Library Help Desk Volunteers:
- Assist computer users with Public PC sign-up, scanning and printing, the use of Windows and Microsoft Office, web browsing, and minor troubleshooting.
- Help Library patrons with public copiers and microfilm machines.
- Provide information/support related to all second floor services.
Volunteers need good customer service skills, the ability to communicate effectively in English, and familiarity with computers and standard office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, email, and Internet access). The ability to speak a second language is a plus.
Two hour shifts are available during the day on Tuesday and Wednesday. A four month commitment is requested.
