Monday, Feb. 6 – Cookbook Author Carolyn Quick Tillery 

Author of a series of cookbooks combining African-American History and traditional recipes, will speak about survival foods, their introduction to the American culture, and their importance during times of change and transition.

Sunday, Feb. 12 – Hidden Heroes: African Americans, NASA & the Quest for the Final Frontier

Learn from award-winning author and historian C.R. Gibbs about the inspiring stories of African American men and women who have contributed to space exploration, math and science.

Wednesday, Feb. 22 – Challenges and Opportunities in Black Education

Join Dr. Alfred Taylor and Portia Clark from the Nauck Civic Association for a discussion of the education challenges and opportunities in the Nauck Community – and beyond.

Saturday, Feb. 25 – Launch

Explore the story of desegregation in Arlington Public Schools
