 of the U.S Department of State\, Arlington Public Library has hosted Croat
 ian information professionals in an exchange that led to a speaking tour b
 y Director Diane Kresh\, who visited several library sites in Croatia. The
  Arlington collection now features a <a href='http://library.arlingtonva.u
 s/croatian-corner/'>wide-reaching selection of books</a> on Croatian art\,
  literature\, business and language.</p>\n<p>Ambassador Paro joined the di
 plomatic service in 1992. He’s served as ambassador to the United Kingdom\
 , the Netherlands\, assistant minister of Foreign Affairs and played a key
  role in normalizing relations with Croatia’s neighbors following the post
 -Yugoslavian conflict.</p>\n<p><strong>Croatian musicians Miroslav Loncar 
 and Tom Vesolich will perform following the ambassador’s remarks and there
  will be an array of Croatian refreshments for all.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>
