Join Arlington author Iris Anthony for a special discussion of her historical novel, “The Ruins of Lace.”

The work explores the time in France when Flemish bobbin lace was a forbidden commodity, subject to innovative smuggling from Flanders in Belgium across the border into French villages.

Publishers Weekly says the novel is “As beautifully fashioned as the sought-after lace, this story is sure to impress. ”
