May 1: “It Happened One Night”  [1934] NR, 105 minutes. Colbert is the spoiled heiress. Gable is the newspaper reporter needing a story.

May 8: “You Can’t Take It with You” [1938]  NR, 126 min. Capra and Jimmy Stewart, along with Jean Arthur and her “wacky” family.

May 15: “Philadelphia Story”  [1940]  NR, 112 min. Cary Grant, Jimmy Stewart and Katharine Hepburn.

May 22: “His Girl Friday” [1940] NR, 92 minutes. Cary Grant doesn’t want his ex-wife, Rosalind Russell, to remarry.

May 29: “The Lady Eve” [1941] NR, 94 minutes. Preston Sturges directs Henry Fonda and Barbara Stanwyck.
