The Friends of the Arlington Public Library present an evening with best-selling author, journalist and publisher Will Schwalbe.
“The End of Your Life Book Club” is the story of a son, Schwalbe, sharing a hunger for reading with his vibrant, book-loving mother, who is dying of pancreatic cancer. Literature and their shared love of it provide a unique comfort at a unique time in their lives.
Entertainment Weekly and BookPage named the memoir a Best Book of the Year.
Schwalbe is co-author of “Send: Why People Email So Badly and How to Do It Better.”
Schwalbe’s remarks will be preceded by the Friends of the Arlington Public Library‘s annual meeting beginning at 6:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
