Stay close to home with what’s on your table
Rob Swennes, president of Food to Table, Inc. (Westover Farmers’ Market), will talk about the health benefits of eating locally, why sustainability is important to all of us, and give you the inside scoop on the Westover Farmers’ Market.
Come for the great information, door prizes, and recipes!
We’ll draw for two copies each of Williams-Sonoma’s “Cooking from the Farmers’ Market” and Novella Carpenter’s “Farm City.”
The first 24 attendees receive a Fruit and Veggie passport designed for children to guide their farmers’ market shopping experience and encourage good food choices at home. Completed passports can be turned in at the library for great prizes!
