There are no scheduled appointments. Assistance is offered on a first come, first serve basis. Please sign up upon on arrival at the door to the 2nd floor study room. Same-day assistance is not guaranteed. Wait time for assistance can be up to a few hours. To minimize wait time, try to arrive 15 to 30 minutes before the start of an assistance period.

Spanish speakers are often available

Tax assistance starts Tuesday Feb. 2nd and continues through Thursday, Apr. 15th

Tuesdays 1:15 pm – 7:45 pm
Thursdays 10 am – 2 pm
Saturdays 10 am – 2 pm

AARP volunteers only prepare 2009 Federal and Virginia full and part year resident income tax returns, and federal and Virginia amended and previous year tax returns for tax years 2006 through 2008.
