The Columbia Pike Branch Library will offer 2 different preschool storytimes for the Winter/Spring 2011 season.
Storytimes begin the Week of Jan. 10. All storytimes are free and do not require registration, so please join us. NO storytimes will be held the weeks of February 14th and March 21st. Get the complete schedule of preschool storytimes (pdf) for all Library locations.
Under 2’s, Fridays 10:30 am – 11:30 am
A special focus on babies ages 0-6 months. Fun development and literacy activities designed for newborns and their parents. Includes music, songs, American Sign Language, nursery and action-rhymes. Free exploration and get-to-know-you time for parents and babies during last 15 minutes.
Preschoolers ages 2-5, Saturdays 10:30 am – 11:30 am
An introduction to the library, listening skills, picture books, and the joy of reading with read songs, American Sign Language, puppetry, and flannel-board tales crafted for children ages 2-5 years with accompanying adult. Includes a theme-related craft or science.
Columbia Pike Branch Library will also be offering a storytime for school-aged children: Fairies, Fables and Funny Folktales, Wednesdays from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.
