In support of our troops, for this year’s Arlington Reads service project we are participating in Operation Paperback, a non-profit organization that coordinates volunteer groups who collect and ship paperback books to U.S. troops overseas. Learn more about Arlington Reads 2011.
All genres except romance are needed. To contribute, donate gently used paperbacks in the “Operation Paperback” donation bins, located on the first floor of Central Library.
Collection dates are April 1 – 30.
If you’re interested in volunteering to organize and box up Operation Paperback donations, fill out an online Volunteer Application.
