We are very excited to observe Bike to Work Week this week – a celebration of biking in and around the District as a part of Bike Month.
We hope you are just as excited, and that we’ll see you out riding this Friday for Arlington’s own Bike to Work Day 2011. But if you’re not quite ready to hit the road, how about checking out some of our fabulous cycling books instead?
Whether you are an avid cyclist or just have fond memories of biking with your friends as a child, the librarians at the Aurora Hills Branch Library suggest three books that should keep you turning the pages:
- It’s All About the Bike by Robert Penn
- Bicycle Diaries by David Byrne
- Bike Snob: Systematically and Mercilessly Realigning the World of Cycling by BikeSnobNYC
