Do you like working with computers and people?
The Columbia Pike Branch Library is looking for volunteers to provide assistance in the CyberCenter, for people who use the Library’s public PCs for Internet, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
The volunteer will assistant Library users with both hardware and software questions, and trouble-shoot as needed. Interested volunteers should be familiar with computers and the software packages listed above, as well as email and Internet access. The position requires good customer service skills, and the ability to speak a second language is a plus.
Open shifts include Monday – Friday, 3:00 – 5:00 p.m., and Monday – Wednesday, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
A four month commitment is requested. Consent to a background check for volunteers 18 years and older is required.
