Exploring Culture and Consumerism
On display at the Columbia Pike Branch Library, October – December 2012
Ric Garcia is a painter and digital print maker. His work explores culture, consumerism and social issues, using shape, color, line, and, design as fundamental tools to communicate.
His style is informed by advertising, street art, and his experiences growing up as a Cuban American. Mr. Garcia’s work is part of private collections and has been exhibited in Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Maryland.
