Anne-Catherine Fallen Photographs

Post Published: September 20, 2013

Local Color, Mountain Pose

On exhibit at the Westover Branch Library, September through December 2013

Anne-Catherine Fallen

Come see the beautiful photographs by local photographer and Arlington native, Anne-Catherine Fallen.

The exhibit includes 11 up-close images of local flora and vegetables, three of mountain ranges, and A Botanic Garden for the Nation, a book authored by the artist. The framed images are limited editions of digital pigment prints.

Ms. Fallen started photographing at 10 years-old with a Kodak Brownie camera that belonged to her grandmother. She was born in Arlington when her father was stationed at the Pentagon, and grew up an Army brat with her American father and French mother.

Want to buy something you see on our walls? Artists contribute 20% of sales made during their exhibit to the Friends of the Arlington County Public Library, to help support Library programming.
