Artist’s Touch – Ceramics
On exhibit at the Westover Branch Library, February 2016
For this piece, I wanted to incorporate the artist’s touch and show that there is a connection between the artist and their work. I created this piece as a part of my AP Concentration, which explores the relationship between the creator and the creation. The hand was made to serve as the handle of the pitcher and consequently holds the entire piece together. This emphasizes that without the artist’s touch, the piece would fall apart.
