Back to School Events At The Library

Get ready for Kindergarten!

Join us for our Kindergarten Kickoff and get ready for the new school year. 

In partnership with Arlington Public Schools, Arlington Public Library will host six “Kickoff to Kindergarten” programs at Columbia Pike and Central Library. 

Rising Kindergarteners will hear stories and participate in crafts about starting school while adults can learn about free library resources for children. 

Columbia Pike Library, Drew Room

  • Wednesday, Aug. 17, 6:00-7:00 p.m. 
  • Friday, Aug. 19, 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. 
  • Saturday, Aug. 20, 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. 

Central Library, Rabbit Hole and Quincy Room 

  • Thursday, Aug. 25, 6:00-7:00 p.m. 
  • Friday, Aug. 26, 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. 
  • Saturday, Aug. 27, 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
