Update the “autofill” information you have previously entered (old Card Number.) This will depend on your browser. Use a Google search for the autofill and the name of your browser, e.g. autofill safari for steps on updating this with your new card number.
A library account is blocked when there are $15.00 or more of unpaid fines, 10 or more overdue items, or lost items. Blocked accounts cannot borrow, renew, or place holds on materials, and cannot access our premium sites from home. Read about how to pay fines.
Be sure:
- to type all 12 or 14 digits of your library card number
- to enter “2020” before older card numbers less than 12 digits
- to enter your username exactly as you set it, or use your card number instead
- your account is not expired and your account is free of excessive fines and fees

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Library has automatically extended active library cards since January 2020. Please try logging in to your account. If you still have trouble, please contact us.
Library cards are normally valid for a two-year period, and must be renewed in person at any library location. You will be asked to provide photo identification or proof of address. You may or may not be issued a new plastic library card and new library card number, depending on the age of your card.
