Aurora Hills History
1926 - Jefferson Women's Club founds the first Aurora Hills Library
1930 - Arlington County Board of Supervisors purchases and remodel a store at 23rd and Eads Street for the Library, and renames it the Martha Morton Duncan Library. Residents could join the Library by donating a book.
1969 - Bond referendum approved for new Aurora Hills Library building.
1977 - The current building opens, housing the Aurora Hills Senior Center, and the Aurora Hills Library.
