Calling all Film Lovers.

On November 1, 2023, Kanopy will be switching from play credits to tickets. Your watching experience will be even better.

Pop-ups will appear on the website and within the app on Nov. 1 about the changes.

On the title page of each movie or TV show, you will see the number of tickets needed to view the movie or show and the length of time remaining to finish watching the program (i.e. 48 hours).

Changes to note:

• Your 10 credits will become 30 tickets per month
• Kanopy Kids will still be 0 tickets
• Most movies will be 2 tickets but major studio releases (i.e. MGM) will be 4 tickets
• Television series and the Great Courses ticket cost will be based on viewing time
• 2-4 hours of viewing time will be 2-3 tickets (with a viewing period 3 days)
• 4-6+ hours of viewing time will be 4-5 tickets (with a viewing period 7-21 days)
