The Library is for You! Presentation
Whoever you are, the library has something for you! Tell us about your group and we’ll discuss all the things the library has for them – from book discussions to crafts, tech help and more!
Library Tour
Request an in-person tour of one our eight library locations, The Shop Makerspace, or the Charlie Clark Center for Local History.
Demonstration of Library eCollection (eBooks/eAudio, Streaming Video, Library app, databases, etc.)
Arlington Public Library offers you a variety of online resources with your library card, including eBooks, audiobooks, digital magazines, and streaming movies and TV. Explore newspapers like The Washington Post and tools such as LinkedIn Learning and Consumer Reports for research, learning, and much more. We can show you how to access these resources from anywhere and make the most of your library card!
Research Skills Workshop
Research isn’t just for college students – our librarians can show you how to navigate our databases or search engines to get accurate and trustworthy information.
Early Literacy / Storytime
Storytimes are fun and interactive programs that combine activities such as read-aloud stories, songs, rhymes, fingerplays and flannel boards. Our storytimes introduce children to listening skills, picture books, the library, and the joy of reading.
STEAM Programs
We’ll provide a fun, hands-on STEAM-based activity designed to spark interest in some aspect of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, or Math! Activities may include building challenges, fun science activities, arts, crafts and games.
...And so much more! Have an idea for a different service or program you’d like us to provide? Let us know in the form below.
