The time of the season we bring you good cheer.
The tunes that we list we hope will amuse
So relax take a listen… you
have nothing to lose.
Pick from bebop and pop
Or country and rock;

plus a little cool jazz.

And thank you for being our most honored guests.

What a fun list.

Two bonus selections from Nick Lowe’s newly-released “Quality Street: A Seasonal Selection for All the Family”:
The decidedly rockabilly “Children Go Where I Send Thee” and the self-penned “Hooves on the Roof.”

Good to hear Carrie Underwood when so many folks are hating on her acting. Happy Christmas to the librarians and thanks.

Hi Paul,
Most folks didn’t realize that the live show on NBC was based on the play, not the movie. So it’s a thankless job filling Julie Andrews’ shoes (which some websites list as size 8).
Here at the Library, we still honor Carrie’s bona fide as an American Idol and one of the great voices of the season. Thanks and enjoy.

I love the variety! I love that you’ve also supplied the links to each song.
My personal favorite to add is The Mighty Mighty Bosstones “This Time of Year.” It’s cheeky and uplifting!

You have great musical taste, Charlie.
