Patrons with mobility issues can now get around Central Library with the use of an in-house walker, courtesy of Arlington’s Department of Human Services.
The bright red device is available to anyone needing assistance. Requests for the walker can be made to any Central Library staff member.

Stop the commuter parkers from taking all the parking spaces. Start ticketing and towing I am sure would stop.

Hello Anonymous,Thank you for your note. Library parking facilities are patrolled on a regular basis by County parking enforcement staff. Vehicles that are parked for more than two hours must have a Library-issued parking permit (available inside at the Circulation Desk and Reference Desk) or they are subject to ticketing. We will forward your comments to the parking enforcement office to share your concerns.
