Celebrate the rich culture and history of African Americans while also honoring Arlington’s African American heritage at the 19th Annual Feel the Heritage Festival on Saturday, Feb. 26 from 12:00 – 5:00 p.m., at the Charles Drew Community Center.
This is a fun and educational event for the whole family and features a great lineup of entertainment including music and dance performances from the Image Band and Soul in Motion, blues music from acoustic blues musician, song writer and Alexandria native Rick Franklin, comedy from acclaimed comedian Laughing Lenny, the unique Washington DC art form of seven step hand dance, arts and crafts, educational programming, photo exhibits of historical African American neighborhoods in Arlington, delicious food, and much more!
Admission to the festival is free.
