Great reads, films, music… and bicycles!
You can now check out a pair of wheels, a seat and handlebars – all conveniently attached – the next time you visit Central Library.
Our friends at Capital Bikeshare have installed their latest station directly in front of 1015 N. Quincy St., and just like with any Arlington Public Library materials, you can drop off any Bikeshare bikes at Central too.
OK, unlike with library books, there is a cost involved with using Capital Bikeshare. But you’ll quickly find it cheaper than using a car and maybe even mass transit. Maybe more convenient too. And definitely better for your health and the planet’s. Pay for just a day or a whole year of Bikeshare usage.
Thanks to BikeArlington, there’s a steady rise in stations along the Rosslyn-Ballston corridor. You’ll also find plenty in Crystal City, the District and soon parts of Maryland.
Just don’t forget to bring your own helmet and definitely a backpack – for all your library stuff.
