In February, a special visitor taught the Aurora Hills Branch Library Kids Club to create trees out of paper bags!
Shirlington Branch Librarian Mary Prisbey was our “Artist in Residence”. She read the 1956 Caldececott winner A Tree is Nice by Janice May Udry, and taught us how make a small tree out of a small paper bag. Then we decorated our trees with blossoms and hearts made out of tissue paper, for Valentines Day.
