Do you love babies, toddlers, and books?

The children’s library at the Shirlington Branch Library is looking for volunteers to help her set up the room for story time, clean up afterwards and act as security at the door during programs to help keep children from wandering.

Volunteers should be dependable, enjoy children, and firm enough to turn people away at the door when storytime is full, or to ask them to leave if neccessary. Passing a background check is required.

When: Monday and/or Friday mornings 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. January through June.
