The garden at Central Library will soon be growing interesting and flavorful vegetables!
Two weeks ago, Don Weber, one of AFAC’s Plot Against Hunger volunteers planted peas, carrots, lettuce and spinach.
Kristin Thompson followed up with more carrots, lettuce seedlings and spring onions.
Volunteers will be making a push to clean up and plant the rest of the garden soon.
Meanwhile, check out how great the lettuces planted during the winter have fared!
