Published: July 15, 2013

Arlington Farmers Markets and the Library  Help Grow Authors!

Recorded at Central Library June 26, 2013, by Arlington TV.

Pritchard also visited the Westover Farmer’s Market last weekend, which takes place in front of the Westover Branch Library:

Pritchard was joined by Westover’s Branch Manager, Shari Henry, who shared information about Westover’s Garden Project, and Terry Nebeker, who sold copies of his book on behalf of One More Page Books.

Many of the people who came to the Westover Farmers’ Market on Sunday said they had heard Gaining Ground: A Story of Farmers’ Markets, Local Food, and Saving the Family Farm mentioned on Saturday’s Splendid Table podcast, as one of Russ Parsons’ “6 Food Books for Summer Reading.”
