Relief and Intaglio Prints
On exhibit at Central Library, April 2014.
Alex Gray is a printmaker and native of Northern Virginia. He studied at the Corcoran College of Art and Design, where his talents lead him towards printmaking. The works displayed in this exhibit are executed in three different printmaking media – woodcut, relief engraving, and copper engraving.
Alex Gray finds his inspiration in historical sites and landscapes.
Alex Gray’s work is as much about printmaking technique as it is an homage to the pastoral beauty of Maryland and Virginia For more information, visit his facebook page or etsy store.
