Spirit of the Being
On exhibit at the Central Library, April 2014.
Perros began his art education at the Corcoran School of Art in 1972, studied drawing and painting at George Washington University and the Art Students League of New York, and graduated from the Maryland School of Art and Design in 1976. He specializes in portraits of animals, and especially enjoys painting animal features, as “the face shows the spirit of the being.”
Perros is also a member of the Library’s Art Committee.
