Our first annual Arlington Public Library Fantasy Football League is a hit and we’re still only in pre-season mode!
Eighteen players were on hand for our Fantasy Football 101 presentation earlier this month and that meant one league was immediately full. So we created a second league to keep up with demand: the Dewey Decimators 2.0.
All together we’ve got almost two dozen participants for our first season, a very strong turnout.
The Aug. 23 draft was a hoot, as some folks showed up on a rainy Saturday at the Central Computer Lab to partake in generous servings of pizza and trash talk. The rest of our players chose to go online and draft their teams without braving the elements.
Registration is now closed and the season officially begins Sept. 4 with the NFL opener, Green Bay at Seattle.
Now let’s see who drafted best and who’s destined to win the coveted first-annual Arlington Public Library Dewey Decimators Championship.

Sorry I missed this draft and library fantasy league participation. I bet it will be a quite hilarious league! Have fun!
