An Evening of Dancing, Ice Cream and Books
On Thursday, Aug. 21, over 125 middle and high school students brought their their families to Central Library to celebrate another great summer of reading.
They enjoyed ice cream sundaes, Dance Dance Revolution, Wii Sports and prize drawings.
Avery, this year’s Grand Prize winner
Avery D., a regular at the Cherrydale Branch Library and Central, won the grand prize of a$100 Visa gift card. $25 or $50 Visa gift cards were also won by Sarah F., Angus L., Lachlan S., Lila B. and Sabrina O.
And everyone who attended the party left with a new book!
