Spooky Fun at the Library

For Kids

  • Tuesday, Oct. 14, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. – Pumpkin Decorating Storytime: Registration for this event is now full. Columbia Pike Branch Library.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 29, 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. – Halloween Open House for Kids, age 3 and up: Come in costume and enjoy scary stories, fun activities as well as visits from a balloon artist and a face painter. Aurora Hills Branch Library.
  • Friday, Oct. 31, 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. – Family Halloween Storytime and Craft: Ghosts and Goblins (and their adults) enjoy a special Halloween storytime and craft on the plaza (weather-permitting). Shirlington Branch Library.

 

For Teens

  • Thursday, Oct. 23, 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. – Halloween Crafternoon for Teens: Create something haunting to take home with you – if you dare. Central Library.

 

For All Ages

  • Thursday, Oct. 30, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. – Poe Garden: Join the Kenmore Middle School Drama Club for a walk in our haunted garden! There will be readings of Poe, festive decorations and refreshments.
  • Friday, Oct. 31, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. – Come in Costume on Halloween: Stop by Cherrydale in costume and receive a special treat. Cherrydale Branch Library.
