Phase Two - Wrapping Up
New group seating area
A great deal of progress has been made during Phase Two of our Central Library upgrade.
- New individual and group seating is in place throughout the second floor
- The magazine and newspaper collection has new shelving
- The reference collection is now housed directly at the top of the stairs.
- Way-finding signage has been installed next to the elevator on the first and second floors.

Behind the Glass Walls
Work is almost complete on our new new multi-purpose technology and maker lab, as well as redesigned public PC stations.
These areas of Central Library will remain closed to the public for safety while we continue to add finishing touches to the work.
What's Next?
Renovated areas of the second floor, including the public computer stations, should begin to be open for use in early 2019. The entire project is expected to be complete Winter, 2019.
