Confronting Racism: Special Call for Submissions to Quaranzine

Published: June 8, 2020

Contribute to an Upcoming Special Edition

Quaranzine is now accepting submissions for a special "Confronting Racism" edition.

We are seeking 2D art and media that promote anti-racism, social justice, inclusion, racial equity, and accountability. We are seeking work that is in direct response to racism in the United States, and documentation that explores the intersections of race and the Arlington community. Submit your own work.

Examples include:

  • Protest art
  • Poetry and writing on the theme of race or inequality (500-word limit)
  • Photography documenting this moment in Arlington

All Quaranzine Rules and Submission Guidelines apply.

Quaranzine was originally created to examine life in Arlington and serve as a time capsule amidst the COVID-19 crisis. Our scope has since extended to not only Arlington’s response to the virus, but to nation-wide issues that dramatically impact our community.

Submit to Quaranzine

The deadline for submissions to this special issue of Quaranzine is Thursday, June 19. We will return with a regularly scheduled issue of Quaranzine on Monday, June 15.

You’re the best. Yes, YOU!
