Participate in Arlington Public Library’s Freedom to Read Bookmark Contest!
Submit your entry between July 22 and Aug. 18.
Arlington Public Library is committed to the theme of the freedom to read whatever, however and whenever.
To celebrate Banned Books Week from Sept. 22-28, we invite you to create a bookmark design for Arlington Public Library. Winning entries, by age category (Pre-K, elementary school, middle school, high school, and adults) will be professionally printed and distributed at all library locations during that week.
Artwork should relate to the freedom to read, books and the library. You may use any material including colored pencils or crayons to create your artwork or design. Digital entries are accepted up to 25 MB per entry. One entry per person.
Winners will be notified by early September and may pick up copies of their printed bookmark to share starting Sept. 22.
Art will become property of Arlington Public Library and will not be returned. It may be used for future library promotional materials.
Submit your entry between July 22 and August 18, 2024 to any library location with a printed submission form (PDF) or online using the form below.
The contest is free and open to all!
Update: The contest submissions are closed and winners will be announced in early September!
