During our LibraryFest celebration on July 18, attendees were invited to make a quilt square showcasing their stories, creativity and reflections on the 250th anniversary of the United States of America.
Afterward, we put them together into a digital quilt that shows the many perspectives, hopes and thoughts of our community.
In the words of the librarian who imagined and led the program: "A community isn’t just a place we live. A community is all the people who live (and read) there!"
