COVID-19 Archives Project: Materials Submission Form

The Center for Local History's COVID-19 Archives Project seeks community donations of everyday materials and objects to help document an extraordinary period in our history.

The Center for Local History will take submissions for the Arlington COVID-19 Archives Project both online and through the mail. Online submissions should use this form to send submissions. These can be documents, pdfs, digital photos, audio files, or video files.
  • This will be used only to contact you about your donation
  • This will be used only to contact you about your donation
  • If / When your submission is shared publicly, may we include your name with the materials you have submitted?
  • Were these materials created by a local business or organization?
  • Please tell us about your relationship to the local business or organization which created these materials
  • Please describe your donation with as many details as possible, including dates, locations, and people.
  • Please indicate if you will be donating physical materials and sending through the mail or uploading an electronic file or if you would like to donate materials that do not fit in either of the above categories.
  • Maximum File Size 50MB
  • We are able to accept the following types of file formats and file type extensions:

    • Documents
      • .pdf (Portable Document Format; Adobe Acrobat)
      • .doc, .docx (Microsoft Word Document)

      • .xls, .xlsx (Microsoft Excel Document)
      • .psd (Adobe Photoshop Document)

      • .ogg
      • .wav
    • Video
      • .mp4, .m4v (MPEG-4)
      • .mov (QuickTime)
      • .wmv (Windows Media Video)
      • .avi
      • .mpg
      • .ogv (Ogg)
      • .3gp (3GPP)
      • .3g2 (3GPP2)

    If the electronic material you wish to donate does not meet these requirements, please indicate "Other" in the Type of Donation field above and briefly explain.
