The Grab & Go collection contains bestselling adult fiction and nonfiction, and new titles are added on a regular basis.
Where to Find Grab & Go Books
Due to current circumstances, print Grab & Go titles are currently only available at Express Library Service locations.
Look for the Grab & Go express book collection on designated shelves close to the service desk.

You'll find Grab & Go copies of your favorite titles in our Overdrive/Libby collection as well.
How does Grab & Go work?
- 14 Day Loan Period - Borrow Grab & Go titles for up to two weeks.
- No Renewals - Books cannot be renewed.
- Holds - Grab & Go books cannot be placed on hold. However, if you check out a print Grab & Go copy of a print book that you have on hold, your hold for the same title will disappear.
- Digital Readers - Electronic titles will return automatically after 2 weeks.
Can't find any Grab & Go titles? That means they are all checked out at the moment. But check again soon - someone could finish and return one at any time!
Do Grab & Go titles need to be checked out?
Yes, these books need to be checked out just like regular library books. You may borrow Grab & Go titles for up to two weeks (14 days).
I use the Overdrive app for all my library reading. Where do I find Grab & Go titles?
If there are Grab & Go titles available, they will display at the top of the Arlington Public Library home screen in the Overdrive app.
I use Overdrive's Libby app. Where do I find Grab & Go titles?
From the home screen of the Libby app, use the Explore option to navigate to the "Skip the Line" list. If there are any Grab & Go titles available, you will see them there.
