Artist Statement

Cindy Kane is an Arlington-based photographer who specializes in documentary-style portraits. Her work explores connections between people - from childhood through end-of-life- their passions and the communities that shape them. Cindy's photography has been featured by organizations including Children's National Hospital, Paralyzed Veterans of America, the National Theatre and is currently part of George Washington's School of Business #StepsAway campaign.

The attached images of the exhibit show the photos hanging on/from 8ftx8ft panels. I included them to give you an idea of the scope of the project, not to suggest lugging in those walls! I think the library's picture rail system is a much better way to display them.
