Singing with Ms. Emily at Aurora Hills

Ms. Emily visited the Aurora Hills Branch Library on Wednesday, March 21, to read and sing books to a room full of 80 happy children and parents.

Everyone enjoyed the beautiful children’s songs and familiar tunes. We sang Marvelous Toy, Rubber Duckie, Teddy Bear’s Picnic, Presidents Name Song, Rhode Island is Famous for You, I love you a Bushel and a Peck, and many more songs.

Thank you Ms. Emily!

    Dear Friends,

I had a WONDERFUL time visiting and singing with everyone on Wednesday!! You were a fantastic audience. Many thanks to Kim Vu who asked me to come and created a terrific atmosphere for the event.

I write a blog about “the wonderful world of Singable Picture Books,” and assembled a post for Wednesday’s event which lists the books and contains links to posts I’ve written about the books and songs which include things like historical information, videos, and sing-along tracks.
