For Kindergarten – 5th Grade Kids

January 6 – April 4, 2014

In case of bad weather or school closings, the Library’s children’s programs are automatically cancelled. No programs are held on County holidays, Jan. 20 or Feb. 17.

Art Club for Tweens

For 4th – 6th graders. Folk Tale inspired art exploration. No registration required.

  • Columbia Pike Branch Library – 4th Wednesday of each month at 5:00 p.m.
  • Central Library – Tuesday, Jan. 21, Thursday March 6 at 2:00 p.m.
  • Westover Branch Library – Thursday, Feb. 20 at 2:00 p.m.

 

ASL Club

For K – 5th graders. Fun activities, rhymes and songs that explore American Sign Language. No registration required.

  • Columbia Pike Branch Library – Wednesdays at 4:00 p.m. No class March 19 and 26.

 

Kids Club

For K – 5th graders. A variety of fun art and exploration activities. No registration required.

  • Central Library – Wednesdays at 4:15 p.m.
  • Aurora Hills Branch Library – Wednesdays at 4:00 p.m. on Jan. 22 and Feb. 26

 

Kids in the Garden

For K – 5th graders. Hands on gardening programs. No registration required.

  • Westover Branch Library – Early release Wednesdays Feb. 5 & March 12 from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m.

 

LEGO Club

For K – 5th graders. Design and create your own LEGO creations. No registration required.

  • Glencarlyn Branch Library – 1st Wednesday of every month at 4:00 p.m.

 

Paws-to-Read*

For ages 5-12. Practice reading with friendly therapy dogs. *Sign up in person or call to register. Learn more about Paws-to-Read.

  • Central Library – 2nd and 4th Monday of every month, between 5:30-6:30 p.m.
  • Aurora Hills Branch Library – 3rd Thursday of every month, between 5:30-6:30 p.m.
