Teresa Oaxaca paintings

Teresa Oaxaca  is an emerging artist trained in the academic tradition. Inspired by artists such as Gericault, Odd Nerdrum, Ribera, Nicholas Aime Morot, and Leon Bonnat, she splits her time between Florence, Italy, and Arlington, VA. Oaxaca accepts commissions for portraiture and still life.

Want to buy something you see on our walls? Artists contribute 20% of sales made during their exhibit to the Friends of the Arlington County Public Library, to help support Library programming.

      While we agree that Teresa’s skills are far beyond her years, we can also guarantee that we have known her since she was in high school here in Arlington, and she is exactly who she says she is.
