Updated Monday, April 1
Lynda.com service has been fully restored.
(This is not an April Fools Day joke.)
The Library’s subscription to Lynda.com will be temporarily unavailable starting Tuesday, March 19.
If you are currently using Lynda.com to work on a course, we hope that this message allows you enough time to finish before Tuesday.
We expect that service will be restored as soon as possible, and apologize for the inconvenience.

When do you think it will be restored again? Maybe in a week or two? Or a month? Thank you.

Lynda.com should be restore within 2 weeks.

Is Lynda changing its name to “LinkedIn Learning”?
Web Editor says
We think so, but are waiting to hear more from the vendor.

I’m patiently awaiting restoration of our access to Lynda, and just wanted to chime in to express my interest in our library’s maintaining this subscription in particular, which I use frequently. I know the library sometimes reviews priorities in terms of online subscriptions, and I sincerely hope this one is NOT on the chopping block (not that there’s any indication that it might be).
So as stated, I’m waiting “patiently,” but will be very happy to learn when access is restored!
Web Editor says
Thank you for your patience!

Hopefully Lynda.com will be available again soon. It is invaluable. This includes investment education and photography. Perhaps someone could enlighten us as to why it goes off-line about once a year?
JW says
Here’s my two cents: I use Lynda.com all the time. Hope it is back soon.
