Are you interested in the Romance genre? Join Angelina M. Lopez, author of Lush Money, to learn how romance deals with heavy topics while also being fun escapism. Whether you’re simply curious about romance novels or a long time fan, come find out why reading romance is good for the soul.

Let it Go! For families with kids of all ages. Join us for a “Frozen” spectacular! We will have crafts, snacks, and a showing of the first “Frozen” movie in anticipation of the sequel, which comes out on November 22.

The New Westover Branch Library building is turning 10 years old! The current building opened in 2009. Help us celebrate with cake, games, and activities for all ages!

Open to all families with kids and teens. Participants will be chosen through a random drawing.

Timeline:

• Application closes at 2:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1
• Selected attendees will be notified by Friday, Nov. 1 at 6 p.m.
• Staging for the parade begins at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2.

Rules:

• Only family groups with children age 18 and under are eligible to apply.
• Children under 18 must have parental permission to apply and attend.
• Kids under age 16 must have an adult chaperone.
• Only one entry per family/person.
