The Washington DC-based “All-Female Native American Traditional Dance Blend”, representing Nehiyaw (Cree), Frog Lake First Nations, Omaha, Pueblo of Laguna, Diné-Navajo, Southern Cheyenne and Oglala Lakota Tribal nations, demonstrates the power of the women's Native American powwow dance styles and honors the families of MMWR through artistry for healing. The group uses traditional and contemporary powwow style beats to share stories, dance, and Native sound through movement and song.
